Overview
Trillium International School is a brand new school founded as a private school to help international community needs and all the parents looking for a different approach of teaching.
The school offers a rich and diversified environment. Children are aged between 18 months and 10 years old. They reach high standards of achievement thanks to the respect of their learning rythm.
We are able to mix both French and English teaching methods in order for our pupils to move on to further education all around the world whatever the country they will move to.
Preschool classes (ages 18 months-5)
Classes are Montessori based and children are accepted at 2 years old. We can accept children from 18 months after assessment with the teacher fo Nursery class. Classes are taught in English, with one morning French lessons for our 3 to 5 year olds.
Primary classes (ages 6-10)
Our Primary classes, offer an ideal setting for high educational achievement with our small class sizes (12 max) and individualised teaching. The educational program is based on the British national curriculum adapted to the local community. French is taught as an integral part of our academic program from reception to year 6. There are two to four half days of classes from French teachers, depending on the grade to ensure strong basics in French and Maths.
Trillium International School is located in Yvelines, about half an hour to the West of Paris.
The members of our teaching staff have backgrounds in Education from all over the world. They bring to TIS a diversity of learning experiences.
Our Nursery and Pre-primary teachers have a Montessori teaching accreditation.
Students in our primary classes all have two main teachers: an English teacher and a French teacher. All of our primary English teachers are native English speakers, with a long experience in international school environments. Both French and English teachers are Montessori trained.
